A veteran of heavy electronic music, a pioneer of crossbreed, and simply an impressive dnb producer DJ Hidden has just released his 4th studio album. Directive offers a range of styles, however Noel’s tracks are the same punchy and desperate, in some places going hard and unusual. And even the neurofunk tunes, such as Crowd Mover and Arctic (together with Landscapers) don’t leave any chance for a compromise. Nevertheless there is not just dancefloor material but also some magical moments, which make this artist’s music so special among the rest. As well as DJ Hidden’s previous LPs, Directive came out via Ad Noiseam.
